Scholars’ Stories from Costa Rica Service Trip

In August 2012, The Challenge Foundation went on its third annual service trip. Thirteen high school scholars traveled to Chilamate in Costa Rica for ten days to help build a community center and stay with families. The Challenge Foundation partnered with World Leadership School to provide a rich experiential learning curriculum. In addition to service work and homestays, the students developed leadership skills and learned about the rainforest ecosystem.

Annual Fundraising Breakfast

The Challenge Foundation recently held its annual fundraising Breakfast in June. It was a fantastic event, and we want to thank those who were able to attend, or who supported the event in some way. We feel very fortunate to have such strong support in our community. You can view a short video of Challenge’s Breakfast 2012 highlights below.
